Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

I feel this was the one thing Vanilla WoW perhaps lacked. I sort of wished they had never added battlegrounds, but having ranked premades fight eachother on a ladder could be cool. I don't think Arena was ever good for WoW. Having 10 or 15 person Ranked BGs might actually work. Having "Competitive" pvp in an mmo doesn't really make sense, so I sort of understand why Vanilla WoW lacked it.

Could Rated Battlegrounds work on Nostalrius? No rewards just ranking/ladder.

All you said is quite true. It would be great, however this will never get added here since the server aims to be as close as possible to the old ranking up system (we lacked a ranks system with no battlegrounds though, Tarren Mill / Southshore, never 4get).

RBGs have their flaws as well. Look at what retail has become with that system. Ppl are literally DDOSing players in opposite's teams.

My grind on live to Hero was either constant ddoses, flyhackers or 1200 rated team. Such fun!
