Unwarranted Bans?

Has anyone run into the problem of being banned for supposedly "botting" yet you have never run anything on your system or have ever used a bot in your life?

A guild member was recently banned for "botting" after letting his nephew play while he went out to eat, and this supposed "botting" activity was "confirmed" by the GMs yet this person has never used a bot and is one of the most active members in the guild, and his young nephew surely would not know how to bot, and would have no reason to.

So I was wondering if anyone has run into this problem, or if Nosta GM's are throwing the ban hammer at undeserving players when another player thinks someone might be a bot based on little to no evidence...

I trained my woodpecker to peck on spacebar while Im in AV and I got banned too.

Anyone know where I can appeal?

That's account sharing which deserves a permanent ban without warning.

That guild member of yours has recieved a warranted ban. Maybe the reason 'botting' is wrong and you can ask a GM can replace that with 'Accoung Sharing', but the result is right. A well deserved permanent ban with no chance of appeal.

The GM's standpoint on botting is that you dont need a botting program to be qualified for botting. Take a electric woodpecker or use some little brother to hit your space bar qualifies for botting too. Therefore play the game, when you take a break, log off and nothing happens. Nostalrius is draconic on afkleeching or botting therefore you are to log off and log in when you come back from RL responsibilities
