Is it worth it?

I want to play vanilla for pvp and some pve but is it worth playing on the pvp server with all this lag? Is there a fix coming in the next two weeks or so? Or would I be better off doing bgs etc on the pve realm?

Most people would recommend you roll on the PvE server. The PvP server has some pretty bad lag spikes, a mass influx of chinese farmers, and when the server is at capacity, the npc/mob rendering distance is pretty much 1 yd.

However, from what I've experienced in the few weeks I've been here, if you can avoid playing at peak times, and deal with gankfests, then it's not so bad really. Even about 8 hours ago when there were 10k+ people online, I didn't find there was any lag or render range issues. Depends on your tolerance level, I suppose.
