Important note 1st: Im not talking about Nostalrius, Im talking about an imaginary private server.

So I was thinking about private servers and stuff, I have no ideia how servers owners make the money. One thing im sure, they must make a lot or this would close sooner or later.

Anyway, lets imagine a very big private server, now imagine if the gold sellers were actualy server employees but all was hiden from public.
Noone knows but only non-employees gold sellers are being banned.
Gold farmers dont need to exist because, as servers owners, they can actualy make the gold and noone would never know they were corrupt.
An outside site would sell the gold that cost 0 to make because noone need work on it, but can be sold for a lot.

Would this be a gold mine or what?

No. Simply because of the fact that people play here because gold / items cannot be baught with real money.

So if u would actually be able to make a stable server ( good luck ) then still no1 would play on it if u can simply buy gold. The whole economy would be fucked up.

Imagine that iten4#####(the gold site we all saw anoncing on Nos) was actualy a Nostalrius employee.

Noone knew it, everyone think Nostalrius was legit but who was making money with it was actualy Nostalrius.
