The Chinese are flooding this server...what will we do?

We have Chinese coming to this server in massive amounts now, taking up server space and bandwith like never before. This wasn't much of a problem 6 months ago, but now this is really snowballing, and something needs to be done about it before it blows up in our faces.

Also let's think about why most Chinese people come to this server. They typically can only play with 600ms or really bad latency due to complications. What game can possibly be fun with that much lag?

So if they're not here for fun, why are they here? TO MONETIZE A PRIVATE SERVER MEANT TO EXIST PURELY FOR ENJOYMENT OF A GAME WE ALL LOVE!

Now I will admit that there are some pretty cool Chinese players that are ACTUALLY here for fun, but they don't seem to be in the majority from my experience. I feel sorry for them because they're being good fans/players, and the gold farmers/character sellers are really REALLY ruining it for the rest of them.

I'm a high level PvPer, and I'm forced to grind far more honor than most of us hobbyists would ever want to do. Why? Because of Chinese characters who use account sharing to be on 24 hours a day to get more honor than someone who has an actual life in order to make money, making ranking in PvP much harder than it should be. Fortunately the skill of a real PvPer (cool chinese included) and organizational levels are good enough to bypass this, but it takes extraordinary effort. The sad thing is that they just SELL those 24 hour characters. They take up multiple slots for ranking just to sell something to someone (which btw always get immediately banned because it's REALLY REALLY obvious when you see a Chinese character that has been sold to someone).

I for one would like to see another server open up that is Chinese/Asia only. This would allow for easier communication (everyone speaks the same language) and make the main server not handle insane amounts of clients logging on. Also they could enjoy their own gaming community that is likely different in its own respects, for better and worse.

If anyone else has a good idea I'm all ears, but an alternate server is the best idea I have to keep them happy and allow them to enjoy this awesome game without bringing their gold farmers/character sellers here.

This is a bit of a rant, but I feel it's necessary to start an honest discussion about this. Perhaps if we can't have an alternate server, there is a need for new methods of rooting out and banning anyone using this game for monetary gain. It ruins the experience for me, this game is NOT supposed to be a job provider. It's a bit of fun and a hobby. If the Chinese do stay, perhaps some kind of rewards program should take effect for any who report account sellers/ gold sellers.

Disclaimer: I'm not a racist. Don't come at me with PC rage, I would say the same thing if it was European or American players doing this. I'm only bringing attention to this subgroup of the server because they seem mostly intent on using it as a job provider, which is not right and needs to be addressed at this point.

Then why don't you roll on a Chinese server? Or try Valk and play with the Russians. See how it works out being a linguistic minority. As someone who played on Valk for a while I can tell you it's painful.

You can always volunteer your time to be a GM & help to enforce the ToU, if it really bothers you that much.

What evidence is there to support your statement about most gold sellers being of asian ethnicity?
