What's the deal with the influx of Chinese players?

Trying to stay as pc as possible for the forums.. But does anyone know why we have a sudden influx of Chinese players? It is really effecting game play in a negative way as a lot of these players refuse to follow the English only rule and we cannot communicate especially in bg's. There should be a Chinese server. Everyone deserves to play Nostalrius because it is amazing.. But when you start getting negative impact directly to the in game economy and game play it becomes and issue imo.

Feenix pissed them off by converting their Vanilla to a 2.4.3 server, meaning people who were in full BiS Naxx gear were rendered obsolete without warning. This caused a mass exodus of players who would've played on Nost, but stayed with Feenix because they were too heavily invested in the server.

Okay, so I am going to point out how borderline racist that is.
It doesn't matter where you're from, the economy goes down if there is a lot of product, and little demand, just because a lot of Chinese people play does NOT mean that is the reason for the economy drop.

Dealing with this same thing with the guild I am currently in. People do not understand it is still racist.
Chinese people are people nonetheless, and last time I checked, they don't speak in a different language in chat, because wow vanilla does not support those characters, so they don't say anything, and when they do it is a blank chat box, unless you have the chinese modified client.

What is the difference between saying "What is the deal with the huge amount of Americans that play?" or change Americans to some other ethnicity.

Yeah I bumped into a few cool Chinese players once or twice, but it has mostly been bad experiences. Usually a person contributing nothing to a battleground (GY AFK) has a Chinese name.

Both playerbases are very different and there is conflict because of this.

Okay, so I have a constant latency of 350-400 and I am Australian, you saying that I cannot play because I have a massive ping and I make the server lag?

Are you aware of that they use the Chinese 1.12 Client? You could Join their world chat "China" And have a look for yourself

The problem with the Chinese is not the language or how unfriendly they are, its just that there are too damn many of them.
The population is consistently increasing and its showing no sign to stop, breaking new records every week.

This has happened many times before in the private WoW community with 2 results:
1. Chinese players are blocked and business goes on as usual.
2. The server becomes too unstable to play on and all the non-Chinese go somewhere else. Chinese players NEVER donate, so the server falls apart.

Oh, that's interesting. I just checked it out and they are basically pushing all their Vanilla players into TBC. That would explain population spiking here recently on Nost for those that want to continue playing just Vanilla.

That doesn't explain the increase in the Chinese population specifically though.
