Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hello Guys,

This is no joke, im dead serious here.
Today I created my 6th character on Nostalrius ( the highest is lvl 24 ) I also got 3 Characters on Primal, 2 on Lordaeron and 2 on Atlantiss.
I am an Altoholic and I hate it. I never played retail, my whole experience with WoW is from private servers.
I am playing on private servers for about 2 years and I never got a character to max lvl ( the highest being lvl 44 on Primal )
So I never experienced endgame content in WoW.

So, why do I post my story here ?
I posted it because I want to ask for advice. I thought I could manage to overcome my problem with creating Alts by myself. But apparently I cant.

So I wanted to ask you guys to give me some advice. What makes you stick to your character ?. What do you do ?
How do you supress the urge to create a new character ?

Again, I am dead serious here. I really need some advice. And I really look forward to experience endgame content one day.

relax, just do what you want bro, it's not a bad thing that you like to make several characters, it just means you're not a "rush to 60 in 3 days" kind of guy.

Hello... brother. Same shit happens to me. Oh, this toon gonna be herbalist-alchemist, so I send all herbs to this one. Now I get some ores, I guess I need blacksmith and digger. Well, now I have 2 toons. Oh, damn, now I need enchanter and tailor to utilize all greens and cloth!
And now I have 6 toons and can't decide which one I want to level to 60 or go to Blade and Soul, I can create a lot characters there too!

If you can't enjoy a single character long enough to get to 60, you won't be able to enjoy it at cap enough to gear it.

I was an altaholic for a long time as well. Because what I enjoyed most in this game was leveling and learning a new class. There's no reason to get to cap or play at cap if you have more fun leveling alts.

I'm assuming you have more fun on alts which is why you keep making them. If you didn't, it wouldn't be problem? If its just indecision. Make a list of what viable classes/specs. Eliminate things you don't like (ranged/melee/caster), pick a role. And boom. That's your class.

I'm the same as you and I _did_ play retail starting in Cata! There's nothing wrong with playing WoW any way you like. Don't feel that you have to fit someone else's idea of a "proper" player.

I park my toons as soon as they die. I might graveyard-rez them in order to liquidate their gear and bag contents and mail the silver to the reroll, but beyond that, on first death it's like they're real people who died. Got only one toon as far as level 10 that way in the past month!

Yea I also like to play a new class.
But my problem is ( already happened to me ) is when i start a new character I literally play the whole day.
Then when im around lvl 15 I often start a new one and again I play the whole time.
I experienced that I quickly get nurned out and then I stop playing for maybe a week or two ( sometimes longer )
Problem is, sometimes its getting really boring playing the same content all the time.
At this point I probably know all the Quests in Elwynn and Westfall by heart. I know every little detail about most low lvl zones. On the other hand, there are many zones in this game which I never played before ( nearly everything over lvl 40 )
For example, I always wanted to play Ungoro Crater or wanted to experience the Blackrock Mountain content.

I am afraid that someday I will stop playing WoW because I am bored of it while only I only played half of the content.

I have the opposite problem.
I lvl my first char to 60 and have now made 5 alts none above lvl 3.
I just can't get myself to lvl up a new char since i already picked the one i wan't to play.

I first read that as alcoholic and thought this thread was about being addicted to wow and alcohol and you asking for help lol
