New PvP Server is needed

I'm sure I'm not alone who is getting sick of getting stuck at "Retrieving Character", rubberbanding, mini-rollbacks (like the one that just happened), etc. Why does this keep happening?

Population.

The game was capped off around 3-4k per realm for a reason. It was just not designed to handle this many players. There are, what, FIVE test/dev servers?

For the sake of sanity for your players and overall stability, please consider opening another PvP server.

Why? These forums were spammed by people that couldn't handle dying in a game with zero consequences because they're trash cans. Their incessant whining got them a PVE server. I think this strategy should work for us as well.

When people where whining about opening a PvE realm cause Nost is overpop and stuff like that, I said that the best solution would be to open a PvP realm, most of the PvPers would enjoy a server with normal MS instead of what we get now. It would split some carebears from the PvPers and good PvPers would go and play in a realm without PvEmades and stuff like that. It would also be more balanced than this 75% PvP pop 25% PpE pop we got in the end since only the carebears wanted the PvE realm.
But everyone laughed. :3

Please stop the PvE server hate. The PvE server was never made to lighten the load of the PvP server. The data shows most of the players never even played on the PvP server.

1. Feedback from PvE server test.

From the data we gathered during the session, ~2,500 distinct players logged in during the brief 40 minutes:
* 67% of the population were new players who had never played on our server before,
* Among the remaining ~33%, half of them were old players who stopped playing on the PvP server.

Statistics clearly state that there is a need for a PvE server, which would gather players from all around the world. When compared with the Nostalrius Begins pre-launch data, note that we "only" had 1,200 distinct players that played on our PTR before the official release.

No need to hate PvE Server. it has a normal population, Hedgehog48 said it well.

But we need something about the PvP Server, and only increasing performance wont't eliminate the other problems that come along with so many players even tho its awesome that so many players are actually playing vanilla wow.

Server Split with caracter migration and limiting server to like 7k players would be a nice starting point I guess. Someone said it before, I can only say it again and support this idea.

But because word "honor" means to people like you just some imaginary e-peen points, then you cannot expect folks to enjoy their game while others do everything in their power to ruin it for them.

As a PVER on the PVP server i just gotta say this is funny, i normally Help alot of new people giving runs gold advice and i'm not even 60, hell i even love Wpvp, I personally don't feel it's vanilla wow without Wpvp and i think it breeds better raiders I'm not saying that the PVE realm was wrong infact i agree with the GM's with it. I'm not so biased to empathetic (Is that how you'd say it?) That a PVE server was needed on any priv server project almost all of em are pvp servers when it comes to 1x Van. But common really? He does have a point about this, people who QQ are normally heard over people who ask nicely, if you ever worked in a medical field you'd see this a lot. As for honor? If a horde talks shit i have a right to hunt him down and kill him over and over, talk to his guild to find his alts and hunt them down, until he is so overstressed he no longer wants to play, But should he wave or hug or some shit like that? He by all means is a great person and deserves life. I can't tell if you're a troll or just rude and hurtful,
