Broken Tooth taming - a proposal

I'm not going into legths explaining the situation in detail, so just the TL;DR for every class to understand;
The Best in Slot /item/ (in this case a pet, but that's irrevelant) is acquired as follows:
1) You walk up to it, no worries, it's several levels lower than you.
2) Cast a 20second channeled spell on it.
3) Profit until the end of times, you got it, thats it, fixed forever.
What is the catch that is easy?
There are ~10.000 people online at any given second, assuming population is equally distributed among classes (it is not) there are ~1.500 other people who need to do the exact same thing.
No biggie, lets form a congaline of people, in a mere ~500 hours everyone will have their 20seconds of casting, done, right?
Not at all.
The respawn time of this /item/ is 7h 30min - Seven Hours and Thirty Minutes, 27.000 seconds.
I assume if you read this far, you are starting to get an idea of what is the usual rundown of these respawns, i'm not going to post the math, but, do you know how long it would take for just 10% of the population to to /acquire/ (tame) it (without cheating, more on this later)? - A Long Fucking Time.
So, here's the proposal - decrease the respawn time, currently, for a single person without crossfaction help, it is entirely impossible to legitimately tame it, the past two weeks i logged in for most of the respawns, at hours varying from 1AM to 7:05AM, you name it, spent my 15minutes there (i'm level 60) just to see it:
-get tamed by multiboxers
-get killed by my own faction
-get killed by the opposite faction
-GMs came, GMs went (latest screenshots below)
Still, there is no way around this, even with official staff threatening the bunch of people before the spawn, there is always someone who just decides to kill it and not give a flying fuck about getting ported somwhere else on the map, the damage is already done, another one will be back in 7 hours to do the same.
The last encounter went like this;
GM arrives:

BT spawns, 8 people start taming it, the level 60 UD rogue i meantioned directly to the GM kills it, our convo after:

tl;dr: for the sake of your players AND your staff, just decrease the re-spawn time, noone will care or notice, noone will be harmed, hundreds of tickets posted by helpless hunters will be solved.
