Does the PVP server mean that server allows world pvp and has both pvp and pve mix OR its just full on PVP server without PVE dungs/raids?

For PVE serv, does it mean world pvp is off and you can mix factions in groups OR just that's where PVE content is done in general?

PvP vs PvE server is a common categorization in MMOs.

The two servers are identical in content.
But on a PvP server you can kill the enemy faction at any time.

There are caveats: Most towns have strong guards (that can't be overcome by a single player). And there are protected zones where you can only kill the enemy faction if they attack first. These zones are limited to capital cities and beginning content (under lvl 20 generally).

If you like corpse camping, making people miserable, being camped yourself, and being miserable, join the PvP sever. I like it because it breaks up the monotony of question and in general adds to the experience.
However on Nost, the PvP server is SUPER overpopulated and it can be quite miserable. If this doesn't sound important to you, I highly encourage you to roll the PvE server.

Good, make him go to the PVE server, we don't need any more people on the PVP :p

PvP server your PvP flag is always on
- except starter zones & major cities

There is probably some "getting started" page that talks about this

PvE Server = Player Vs Enviroment.
There will still be some PvP, but on this server it is your own choice if you wanna toggle on pvp, in the netrual areas. Also factions are still seperated.

PvP Server = Player Vs Player.
This server focus on PvP, you are still able to do PvE also. But if you see another player in a netrual area, you are ALWAYS able to attack others, (this will happen to most of people playing the game).

So what?
Both servers are good servers, the PvP servers are abit laggy during to many players, but they are trying to fix that asap. The high number of players is for the players not have to wait in long queues to join Battle Grounds.

The PvE server is more leveling friendly, but almost non existing PvP. (Did Battle Grounds my self yesterday) Maximum of 6 people on each team in the WSG which is ment for 10 people on each team. So now im also leveling a char on PvP server.

After all its about what you would like to do. as i said both servers are very good
