Ragnaros Loot bug?

This is merely an inquiry, considering we don't have any real evidence it is a bug....but it's strangely curious and would love to know if it has happened for anybody else;

In the nearly 5 months we have been clearing MC with our main raid group, not one single Perdition's blade or Medallion of Steadfast Might have dropped. Not a single damn one. On top of that, we have only seen 1 binding, no eye of sulfuras, and just a couple ingots. Mathematically speaking, I understand it is possible for this to be happening...but it's just incredibly unlikely, and unfortunate.

At first it was a joke we all laughed about, and now we're just wondering what the hell we're doing wrong?!?! I'm not too endowed with the knowledge of how loot tables work, but is it possible there is something wrong with our group compositions that would be effecting the randomizing (or not randomizing in our case)?

Just curious to see if anybody else has ran into the problem of an item NEVER dropping?

If you go through realm-stats and compare our (Luminous Force) MC runs to other guilds, you will notice the non-tier drops are consistently sub par to the average.

Yes Noxm, I have perdition's blade. I didn't win it from our main raid though. That was when I had to go with our secondary raid group one week (has dropped 3 times for them). At this point we still PUG a handfull of people for those raids as well.

It's so frustrating to see guilds running around with 4 or 5 Thunderfurys, and here we have our MT with all of the mats collecting dust, just waiting for that binding to drop from Garr. At what point do you start to speculate on why you're getting the short end of the stick?

We'll we've had 2 necks, 1 blade, and no bindings. Which would you rather have?

A PVP dagger and 2 tank necks that are replaced with ZG rep and Nef head or half of Thunderfury.

I'd dream to have my first binding by now. Be grateful for what you got.

Though IMO complaining about loot should be in general discussion and not taking away from actual issues people have.

Everyone has stories about unlucky loot. Axiom/Echo went a longer time than that without seeing a Perdition's blade drop. One finally dropped for us a couple weeks ago. We have only seen 1 striker's mark as well as just a couple brutality blades which just recently started dropping. We haven't seen an eye and have only seen 1 binding drop so far.
In bwl we haven't seen any Prestor's or edge of chaos yet. It took awhile for us to get our first dft we now have 2 of them wtb more of them! We have only seen 1 bloodfang belt drop so far and I am sure I am missing out on some of the other bad luck drop items since I only really pay attention to melee dps drops.
