VI. Multiboxing

Multiboxing refers to playing multiple characters simultaneously. This can either be achieved by using multiple machines to run the Game or by running multiple instances of the Game. The following rules are not meant to be exhaustive, and using multiple characters to level, farm reputation, run dungeons, do raids and/or engage in PVP is considered Multiboxing. Each case of Multiboxing will be judged individually and thoroughly. There are a few specific situations where you may have two characters in-game simultaneously, *only while both characters are in a major city*:

Transferring items between accounts;
Using professions, as long as no farming or material gathering is involved;
Crafting, enchanting, banking and/or for trading purposes that does not include the Auction House.
Portalling a second account only to and from major cities.
Playing simultaneously on both PvP and PvE realms. *Not restricted to major cities*


I read the above and i wanna bouble check, so he it goes we must always keep in mind the restriction of

while this little * is cleared we are allowed to do the followings

1) Transferring items between accounts;

that means i can have 2 chars from same pc in ogr for example and open trade items...thats ok?


2) Using professions, as long as no farming or material gathering is involved;

2 chars again 1 pc in 1 same city and DE items from A to B via trade etc
OR
trade leathers from A to B and make gear or kits for A
but the sentence -->as long as no farming or material gathering is involved; is kinda confuse me...does that means if A farm linen cloth first and then go to to city and trade to B so he can craft it and then trade it again is not allowed?

Yes

It means that you cannot farm materials with character A while being online with character B.
Crafting is fine (doing your LW job). If you are crafting lots of items I would recommend you to log out account B while A does to work; however, it is not illegal.
Note that you are not allowed to play with B (do quests, kill mobs, farm, do dungeons, queue up for BG's ...) while using character A.

It means you are not allowed to do AH banking stuff on A while being online with character B.

You can make mage portals, but you cannot summon anyone to Stv (how would you do that if you were in a major city anyway?)

Trading gold is fine (as long you didnt buy it or got it from someone wo did)

When you have finished using char A, you must log off before using char B again.
You can never use or log in with both characters same time, with trading as only exception.

well i can use my lock to summon guildies from ogr to stv by simply asking guildies to assist summoning etc this way we can save time on questing for lowbies instead of having em wait zep on walk fly etc.

As long your main ain't online, then you are allowed.

Yes, you are not allowed to log two characters (two accounts) on at once. So if you want to use your alt to summon guildies, then your main account must ofcause be logged off.
