Just found out about this server i am interested to join but latency is why i left ESO. how bad is it for Aus players and what kind of numbers we looking at for ping

~300 range.

Server is based in France.

Depends on the time and days you get on U.S (East) here and i only go over 100 on about saturday / sunday

well im western australia .. so i dont think the time of day matters for me cause the distance will over ride it

The best way is to try and and see, after all it is free!

You will not get ping lower than 340ms. It depends on your provider and who they connect to, but generally you're going to go via the USA to Sydney and then across Aus to Perth. The server is hosted in France. There is no way to speed it up. The only way it could possibly be faster via a VPN is if your ISP had really bad routing, and that's unlikely.

Server is located in France, so you will have more lag as If I connect to a US or Australian server from Europe.
Anyway, Some racists of this forum will say that what it causes lag is the Chinese people. Ofc, they are wrong.

Nabled me old mate, how ya doing? Cool to see you on here. Can confirm 20ms but on the weekends I may as well have 290ms with the server lag.
