Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Loving the server so I hope you can imagine my disappointment to see obvious mining hacks on the PvP server. If anybody else can confirm this would be great.

I was in Elwynn racing another lowbie toward two above-ground nodes... when they both despawned at the same time. All right - funny coincidence, maybe, or just a server glitch. Happens, right?

Then it happened again. Four nodes in a line within the mine, and right in front of me I watched the node despawn. There was nobody mining it and, to make it even more clear, there was a treasure chest right next to the node left untouched. The chest had a green weapon, a silver bar and a robe pattern, easily worth more than the few silver the hacker is getting off of the nodes.

Is this something other players are seeing lately?

Edit : If you move forward towards the mine, the vanish. Back up a bit and they come back.

It's a weird phasing thing (Jasperlode Mine). I also saw this in some caves in Mulgore. It's not specific to mining nodes. Even mobs phase in/out. It's in bugtracker (at least, the Mulgore phasing issue)

This is not a hack and is normal on Nostalrius. This is phasing on the server. You see the nodes in a different phasing thingy so they don't really exist to start with. I have no idea how the technical stuff works it's just somehting I have figured out myself.

You really only notice it as a miner/herb collector. You did not lose anything, they never existed for you to start with.

This also leads to problems with some Escort quest when the NPC you Escort stay in one phaseing thingy and you travel in to a new so the NPC dissapears...

This have happened to me many times, you get all happy when you see some nodes and when you travel to them they fade away in front of your Eyes ;( And if you move backward they becoe visible again, both on minimap and visibel nodes.
