Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

If you've tried this mission, you will most possibly find that at one point (after the scorpions) the chicken will run into the mountain and disappear.
Well the way to avoid mission failure is that when the chicken starts running, quickly get into combat with the mobs. The chicken will come and help you, just drag the mob to somewhere north before kill it. After a few kills the chicken should act normal (start walking instead of running) again.
And there's a second bug point (after the humanoids and close to the end) where the chicken run north quickly. Do the same thing to complete the quest.

Took me five runs to complete it. And better make a lvl 50 team cause the other factions' 60s may assault you.

ALL NPCs on escorts do this. Even summonable NPC's from that one epic sword will run off and agro shit. It's been like that since 1.3 or 1.4 (basically the start of the server), but not sure if anyone has bugtracked it.

Thanks for posting this. Not being able to do this really irked me in the 40-50 grind. I ended up skipping all the chickens and that's a nice chunk of missing XP right there.

Also, zhuk90, shut up, seriously. Don't post on the forums if that's all you have to 'contribute.' I'd tell you to go back to retail, but you obviously can't afford the $15/month cost which is why you're here.

not all escort NPCs are bugged. pls read
