Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Is the pvp realm down?
Trying to login but get instantly disconnected.

Same is happening to me. It even goes to "Success", but then insta disconnects from server.

Could be an issue with all the people. I know I had trouble getting on a few days ago early (when the servers are slammed). I kept getting dc'd, then I finally got into a very long queue.

For me it goes straight to disconnected.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?

Happening to me, I'm sure it'll be fixed shortly.

Its because 12k ppl are online, we need another pvp server badly, the lag is unbearable.

It doesn't happen often, but once every 48 hours or so, the server restarts to keep things fresh. Now, 8,000-12,000 people are trying to log back into the same server at the same time, that's going to cause a few problems. The server recognizes your attempts to join, but currently can't handle the load and then promptly puts you back at the login screen.

Also, you can always check the status by checking the Nostalrius homepage and scrolling down a little bit, server status and the population is always there.
