How do you guys level up mining with the lack of veins?

I'm having trouble myself and want to hear you guys' suggestions. I personally just wait for the low peak of players and go far away from a questing area in a zone as I can.

I do a tour of a certain zone at any hour of the day and get ~50 tin ~40 copper in half an hour, repeat for how much I need.
For iron I found some odd areas to mine it.
Found 4 silver nodes next to each other, 2 gold as well.
Just gotta think that everyone knows where the mining guides can be found, and will follow them rigorously but I'd rather follow the path less people take and have less competition.
Where are you mining and what are you looking for?

Arathi is full of iron nodes. Go there at low times and every cave will have atleast 2-5 nodes in it. Then you can go to alterac where there's a lot of mithril. No one's there anyway.

Cool gif. Arathi for iron + Alterac for mithril. I always leveled up my mining in Arathi, early mornings EST time. Blasted lands for those sweet sweet small thorium veins.

I've personally found it difficult to level my mining past 200 since there are 60's that are patrolling on all the good places and farming players as well as veins.
