Denial: it is a late april fools joke
Anger: Stupid (*&)^*@#^% Blizzard
Bargaining: I'll host the new Nostalrius
Depression: All those characters, friends, items, all gone.
Acceptance: Moving on.

It's overwhelmingly likely someone will host the realm.
Scriptcraft only had a couple hundred players, and that realm was re-made within a few months of going down.
The sad part is that any new realm would be only a shadow of what Nost is today.

If we achieve a unified new realm, then it won't be a shadow, since the Staff will be open sourcing the emulator, which is perfectly written, and is what makes the difference from this server to others.

I think this eaither a red herring, or the end of all privite servers in the long run, if they can reach EU Most servers will have to host RU. Really sad day for all things Emulated honestly, but i think we all knew this would happen or atleast everyone who played on a privite server long enough, we are just sorta part of the dying generation. Was fun while it lasted, but if they're willing to gut Nos like this i don't think any privite server in the EU will be the same. Hopefully i'm wrong, but it's better to expect the worse.

They should just take what they have.. find a new hosting company in another country and host under a completely new name and never admit it's the same realm ran by the same people. Copy the DB and Coding as it's going "Public" anyway and just continue you again until Blizzard decides to close that one too.
