Do not support Blizzard after what they have done

by EinBaum » Thu Apr 07, 2016 12:32 am

If you plan on "returning" to retail WoW after Blizzard has sued Nostalrius, I spit in your face. There is nothing worse than supporting an enemy. If you have any feelings for Nostalrius, boycott Blizzard, uninstall their games and tell them on social media that you despise them.

Agreed,
Lets make our retail accounts martyrs
Flame the Blizzard forums
Clog them up
Make their mods works overtime
Lets make Blizzard regret fucking with us.

I stopped supporting Blizzard a bit before the shared realm dungeon finder was added to their WoW servers. Merging players like that simply added too much anonymity for the players to be jerks, ninjas or be incredibly abusive without recourse. More or less I saw it coming a mile away.

I also stopped supporting NCSoft when City of Heroes had its plug pulled. Thank God for all the fine indi offerings being thrown at us through Steam.

Stopped playing retail before MoP, but still followed Blizz around. Now I won't even go see Warcraft Movie, they're completely dead to me.

Even though I had quit retail WoW years ago and will never go back; I have continued to play Diablo and Starcraft. No longer will I even do that. Blizzard is dead to me.

The last time I purchased anything from the souless shell of a team that is Blizzard was already years ago when Heart of the Swarm was released. I foolishly hoped storytelling would be good. I deeply liked Starcraft lore. I was ripped off 50 USD when it happened, and I haven't been back to feed them ever since.

But I won't just do that. I have torrented every single game they still sell, starting from WC2 and SC1, all the way to Diablo III, and will start burning CDs with it and giving them for free to children or bored people.
I will also do the same with the Warcraft film once someone pirates it in the theater (will obviously not go to it myself).

Agreed. It's a decision they made to increase their wallet size. Let them know that you will not be supporting their wallet anymore. I uninstalled my retail wow and cancelled my subscription. In the reason section i told them it was because they shut down nost. Tell your friends not to support blizzard's wallet. Make their wallet hurt and they will listen.

Do not buy Legion.
Do not buy Blizzard games.
Do not buy Blizzard anything.
Watch a cam version of their movie if you want.
Tell them why you don't buy their things anymore.
Tell your friends to do the same.
