There's some hope
Although we are a competing server, this wasn't met with glee or joy at all. We're sad and even a bit angry at Blizzard, actually. However, no one can actually destroy Nostalrius' legacy - not any time soon. Neither Valkyrie nor Kronos nor other vanilla WoW servers will back down - we'll keep going on. We're in the business of making Blizzard realize with dismay that the best WoW - the TRUE WoW - was vanilla back in 2006. Vanilla is here to stay, and so are we. Valkyrie-WoW administration sends their condolences to Nostalrius' players and wishes to congratulate Nost's team for a job well done. If Nost's account database goes public, we will be happy to offer free transfer to our server without losing any in-game progress. We're always here to help those who wish to return to World of Warcraft once again.

You used to be able to buy 60s for ~$20 (not sure if you still can) so it falls into fun server similar to 7x exp kronos.

My "demands" for the server i'm going to, if i am:
- No pay to win.
- Bizzlike xp rates.
- Should hold at least more than 3k players before lag. (Nostalrius made my expectations very high about this)
- Vanilla or TBC.
- Should be some sort of professional management, like the nost crew. At least make it seem like it's not a couple of gamers making a priv server for fun.
- No major/gamebreaking bugs.
- etc.

Just created a toon on Valk and did a /who Org. Found 16 people. Might not be peak time, but that seems a little too low pop imo. Who knows, I'll keep an eye on it.

well if they create a new server for nost and we migrate there, we won't have a population problem.
