Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hey everyone, since people are wondering what other servers to go to besides Kronos, I thought I'd let some of you know about Valkyrie. It's one of the oldest vanilla servers out there right now and is very well scripted(better than Nost overall in my opinion). Further more, they are willing to do character transfers from Nost so you don't lose your progress. Population isn't too high but I expect that to change within the next few days/weeks.

He mean's they'll import use the character database from Nost, effectively allowing for character transfers.

I don't think he's saying he's got the data, just that they'd be willing to do character transfers should they get the data.

Please don't call these guys as tricksters! Actually they said:

Although we are a competing server, this wasn't met with glee or joy at all. We're sad and even a bit angry at Blizzard, actually. However, no one can actually destroy Nostalrius' legacy - not any time soon. Neither Valkyrie nor Kronos nor other vanilla WoW servers will back down - we'll keep going on. We're in the business of making Blizzard realize with dismay that the best WoW - the TRUE WoW - was vanilla back in 2006. Vanilla is here to stay, and so are we. Valkyrie-WoW administration sends their condolences to Nostalrius' players and wishes to congratulate Nost's team for a job well done. If Nost's account database goes public, we will be happy to offer free transfer to our server without losing any in-game progress. We're always here to help those who wish to return to World of Warcraft once again."

Thanks for clarifying this situation in case people misunderstood me. I was just wanting to tell people other options for continuing WoW. I should've worded my sentence better because it's true that Valkyrie may not get Nost's source data. I mainly just wanted show information to other players in case they aren't wanting to go to Kronos due to population issues and this Valkyrie is a *possible* viable option to continue their progress from Nost.

I should have stated that we put the disclaimer up on the most active threads in order to reach as many users as possible without making it into an announcement. It's been posted on several threads, some of which it doesn't necessarily apply to.

At least Valkyrie are being honest. I saw one claiming to have data and staff from Nost, and i'm not sure if that is even true.
