Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

Hi. This is my first post, and just today I discovered Nostalrius. I know it's currently closed, they're in discussion with the Blizzard team...

But is anything really happening right now? Do we have an alternative to Nostalrius, can we expect it to restart in the event that Blizzard won't be hosting any classic servers? Thanks for your replies.

Blizzard and Nos dev teams met up and Blizzard likes the idea but will probably wait till Blizzcon to say anything because they need a backup plan for Legion if it fails Happy Wowing

The Nost team has met with Blizzard and that's all we know.

Honestly its just a wait and see if they announce anything at this years blizzcon. The nostalrius dev team had their meeting, they said it was successful. I would check out the announcement tab on this site and read the articles to give you an idea whats going on. Plus they still have things to provide to the community so stay tuned and check back to this site from time to time.

No, only thing we can do is waiting for Blizzcon hoping that blizzard says something about it.

And no, nostalrius is not going to restart if blizzard doesn't host any server.
