Mark Kern started this one just now, even tho i think its pointless i just signed, and i think everyone should (takes you what 2-3 sec?).

Why does this even need a petition? It literally doesn't matter, either someone will ask about it or not, that's it. Blizzard already shooed us off with "we're thinking about it" like last time, it's pointless.

Let's put that into perspective. We play vanilla and we (on this server) alone put in thousands of days played. Kern probably put all his younger self's energy, creativity and ridiculous amount of hours to make Vanilla a game. A game that is better than the last 5-7 years blizzard has produced. Not only that but return of vanilla will make a major splash to future developers who don't see the older style MMO's a viable game.

Every time Nost leverages their actual clout in the community Kern tried to leverage his. It always comes off like a little brother saying, "Me too, I wanna try!".

This. I signed it because I'll do anything for a vanilla server, but for the first time ever I was thinking to myself, "Why?" I think there are better avenues than this and I'd rather see our energy behind something with more, as you so appropriately called it, clout.
