Nostalrius Begins - Quality wow vanilla realm (1.12)

1) Got confirmation from them that they're having a big update "after Blizzcon" (sounds familiar).

"Regarding our pop, we have some big plans and exciting news after blizzcon. Looking forward to it!"

2) They share similar values outside of 1.12 itemization. No cash shop with frequent updates. While launch was rocky, they have updated quite a bit with pathing, etc. They also have a long history in the private server scene with their RU server.

3) At least one staff member from Nostalrius is on Elysium (Pottu).

4) The progression on Elysium is just Ony/MC right now. Possibility of xfers off Elysium to Nostalrius server with old characters?

Why would they say ELYSIUMS pop would be increased if it was the character database?
Why would they be talking about a november 18th AV release if they were getting the database?

I never cease to be amazed by what assholes of impossible magnitude people can be on the Internet. I can't even fathom that you are characterising as you do people who are working out of the goodness of their hearts in a DIY endeavour to provide something to you for free. Because maybe Nost announcement will be just official endorsement + mby some staff will join up with Elysium. That seem least exciting for the hype that's built up but oh well...

That would be a massive disappointment.

It's quite realistic tho all other speculations we heard thus far seem super unreal, awesome unreal but still... lets face it... unreal

Why though? What stops other Vanilla servers from being worthy successors of Nostalrius, especially in the case that Nostalrius staff joins up with them? I have this question for a number of different private servers, not least of all Kronos II and the upcoming Crestfall. If your reply is "community", then that's just a matter of silly convention, and we should all coordinate in order to decide to which server the Nostalrius community should collectively move.
