I think people severly underestimate the latest announcement.

"Elysium" will have their full source code, potentially the database, as well as most of the former Nostalrius volunteers. This does look like a big comeback to me.

Nobody in their right mind could have believed they would have re-opened Nostalrius in its exact previous form. All their names etc. are known, this would have been legal suicide. The best we could have hoped for is for their team to pull the strings from the back seats, which I believe is what they even hinted at initially when Nost shut down.
Well, and seems like this is indeed what we will be getting. Which could be amazing / pretty much just like original Nost in its best days, if done right.

I agree, it was fun to live a dream and speculate about pure relaunch like announcement "GUYS servers are up again, fuck blizz!" but it was not realistic;P been fun dreaming about it tho;P I think we got a step forward for private scene with source release.

I agree with this too. This really is the way to relaunch Nost 2.
