There is a lot to do and the list will likely never end. That’s the nature of development, but our goal is to push the ball forward every day and let the quality speak for itself. Here are some goals for our team prior to launch:

Complete the content for the Ahn’Qiraj patch for the Nostalrius PvP relaunch

Prepare BWL for the Nostalrius PvE relaunch to ensure the issues faced on the PvP server do not repeat

Clean up pre-nerf AV to make the battleground more accurate and enjoyable

Fix common issues regarding spells and abilities

Eliminate known exploits

Implement improved Escort quest AI

Create and merge known issues from Nostalrius onto a new bugtracker based on Elysium’s previous track

Are you rly wait to fix all these bugs to open the servers? we are waiting for 7 months and now you say this? release date 2020 gg

I thought the same. No idea how you think they care. It's not like you are entitled to anything.

Eh I sort of agree with the OP.
Obviously all these things are issues that need to be dealt with, but does it really have to happen BEFORE the launch?
Is there a reason we need to wait for BWL on the pve server and AQ on the pvp server just to be able to even play the realm again?
It seems odd to me. These things took them months to get to the progression they were at before it closed, and now all of a sudden its a top priority?
I think most people would be satisfied just to be able to log on. Even if it meant doing BWL for another year, I would vote for getting the realms up and playable asap.
Call it "beta" or whatever, but there are issues that are FAR more important than whether or not AQ is ready on a server like Nost that is all about progression.

Step 1 and 2 is making sure people can actually log into their accounts and making sure the servers can handle to load.
Let's worry about new raids and tweaks to AV after all that is sorted.

Hopefully its just worded poorly, because it makes no sense for these to be "prior to launch" concerns when Nostalrius was up for over a year+ as it was.

Bugs since day one on nostalrius seems high priority now and they will not open the servers till they fix everything, seems retarded to me when nostalrius was totally playable and the server was online for a year with these bugs

I agree that's how that article reads, but I'm hopeful that wont be the case. If they make that public and say it wont be ready for like 6 months or an indefinite amount of time, surely that would wash away all the progress they have made leading up to this point?
I really hope this isn't the case, because I am of course impatient and want to play again, but I am also fully aware that most of the things on that list are in no way needed to be able to play and enjoy the game.
They will have much bigger issues that wont present themselves until we are actually able to play, so I would focus on that first before any of this.

Cry more. It's pathetic. Get over it, it's a fun project for the Team. They may do as they please.
