Sorry but this comes in mind. 6k players vs 2k and you fire up the new realm after... 4 weeks ? We all know it's a dirty marketing move to pump blood in old Nostalrius, but come on... If people don't wanna play on old Nostalrius, why the heck you try to artificially keep it alive lol...

deeply unsatisfied, Viper once said something like "in the end only the community voice matters", why you changed exactly how Blizzard did...

Good grief...all this rancor about the new fresh PvP server from so many people.

7 months...SEVEN months of nothing but "Waaah! We just want Nostalrius back! Waaah!" and when it finally is going to happen, you're still not satisfied?

It's pretty sad. I don't see any of all you crybabies putting together a server that'll host thousands of players, for free, on your own time and on your own dime.

Quit being such ingrates and be happy that ANYTHING is happening at all.

I never said I want old Nostalrius back. Nostalrius died when it stopped and looking at http://www.strawpoll.me/11589399/r , my whole guild is not alone in this. Heck, even if you combine the guys who wanna play on the Nost PVE server with the Nost PvP ones, you still can't reach 50% of the fresh server voters. So stop trolling cause you ain't impress anyone with your thin arguments. Which basically aren't even arguments but just low quality flames.

It's not flames, it's fire retardant. It ain't just your post, man, it's the vocal "entitled" players that are looking a gift horse in the mouth without being grateful at all.

Trust me, I get what you're saying. But you have to keep in mind that a strawpoll is just that - an unofficial, sample poll. Even if the poll was launched by Nostalrius, it's up to them to decide what, if anything, to do about it. It's not a vote, it's a poll.

Come on, the poll was specifically made for them to see what people want, and the result is crystal clear, hands down. They even agreed they are doing this to keep the old server filled lol...

I do appreciate the poll and person who put it up (you?) but I am just more than thrilled we get our shit back, and then some. Seems too many people aren't happy no matter what Nostalrius does.

The people who want the new realm, seems to mostly be people who started just before the shut down, or just heard of Nost because of all the attention it got after its martyrdom.

The Nost success generated a lot of hype, people flocked to it. I think it is fine to respect the initial population and give the old server a chance to rebuild and continue progressing, before letting all the newly vanilla-interested players "reset" the current community on a new server.

The important thing to remember, is that the reason Nost was special is that the world was alive(lag be dammed), there were people everywhere and splitting up the community is not a good thing.
