Servers supposed to launch. No one can connect.. then suddenly they shut down their Discord.... Anyone smelling a replay of PlayTBC here? I expected problems connecting. That's a lot of people. But turning off your discord? Cmon.. lol

No private server in existence can withstand 40,000 people or so trying to log in simultaneously.

I think Nostalrius is a victim of its own success.

Didn't even manage to log in the world and now servers are down with no ETA.

I was playing on the server just fine, I think they only took it down because people were missing gear. Just complications from combining servers.

They were not prepared! lol

any official response from Elysium about the server relaunch ??

Like i said, i can understand the server eating shit. That was actually expected. But the Discord server was shut off at the same time. That's completely independent of the Elysium server. The Discord key was suddenly expired. That was my only concern.

Aaaaand they announced a 5k server cap... Great.. RIP Nost.

Thats for the PvE server.
But I cry blood myself at the idea of a cap that would lead to any sort of queue longer than 20 minutes.
