Hello fellas,

I'm sure this is nothing new to a lot of people who will read this here, but yes, they finally did it:

The situation is so bad that, for the first time since the launch of the classic wow subreddit, moderators are LITERALLY allowing people to promote private servers there as a sign of protest:

The post reached 12k upvotes in a matter of hours.

Here's one problem though : way too many private servers still have questionable practices, and very few respect the community like you once did.

This is maybe going to sound corny and childish...but please, come back:

The idea behind you going away was for us to get proper official vanilla realms, but the entire thing has crumbled. The philosophy behind it all is the exact opposite of everything you wanted for the community, and it angers me to no end to think that all of these years of hope led us to this bullshit of a situation.

I don't trust most of the projects that are active on the current scene (although I do respect several as well). It's not even about the scripting, for Nostalrius definitely wasn't perfect in that regard...but your vision was right, and it felt good to be a part of that.

Please come back guys, seriously, we miss you.
